2007-2008 25th Annual Secretaries Meeting - August 18, 2007

Secretaries,

The 25th annual secretaries meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at the Richardson Hotel, 701 East Campbell Road, Richardson, TX. No smoking allowed.

* USBC sanction cards will be mailed directly to the bowlers from headquarters. Make sure the addresses are correct and legible.

* Learn about the USBC Sanction Application

* Pick up your copy of the 2006-07 new Average Yearbook

* Pick up the supplies needed for your fall league

* Learn about the new USBC award choices and award forms

* Win a door prize

Please be on time and don't miss the fun. If you are unable to attend or do not plan to be the secretary for the 2007-08 fall season, please contact the new secretary or president of the league to pick up your supplies and attend the meeting.

Important: If your league is bowling in a different center from last fall, please contact our office at 972-644-7746 and tell us where you are moving, by August 11, 2007.

We want to meet you, answer questions, and furnish you supplies for your league. Remember it is the secretaries responsibility to get all forms and monies to the association offices on time. Please plan to attend. Your league needs to be represented at this meeting. We can't stress enough how important it is for you to be there, for all the new USBC Supplies, and learn how to fill out the paper work properly.

Remember registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and meeting begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

No Smoking Allowed.

* USBC sanction cards will be mailed directly to the bowlers from
headquarters. Make sure the addresses are correct and legible.
* Learn about the Certification application
* Pick up a copy of the 2006-07 new average book
* Pick up the supplies needed for your fall league
* Learn about changes in award choices and award forms
· Win A door prize
· Important changes coming for next year. It could affect how prompt you get your awards & Certification cards back.

It’s going to be as short and sweet as possible, so be on time and don’t miss the fun. If you are unable to attend or do not plan on being secretary for the 2007-08 fall season, please contact the new secretary or president of the league to pick up your supplies.

Important: If your league is bowling in a different center from last fall or the number of teams expected is different from last fall, please call 972-274-4433, before August 1, 2007 and let us know. Your 2007-08 kit will be packaged according to last fall’s number of teams unless you notify us of a change.

We are not going to pack standing sheet kits, if you are not using a computer and want the kit, call the office before August 1, 2007, at 972-274-4433. These are for secretaries who do not use computers and want to keep records by hand.
